"Colors of our Natural World"
Coloring Contest

Sigma Wild was delighted to be involved with the 2025 Summer Reading Program organized by the Collaborative Summer Library Program. Our team journeyed to 13 beautiful libraries located throughout southern Michigan to give a presentation entitled “Colors of our Natural World”.  As part of this program, we invited every child attendee to take part in a coloring contest aimed at encouraging further engagement and opening their imagination.   We'd like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for the participation of every young artist. The creativity, energy, and originality evident in each entry left us thoroughly impressed. With that said, it is with great pleasure that we offer a special congratulations to Julia from Gregory, MI, for achieving victory in this competition. Her artistic creation exemplified a remarkable application of color and detail.  Well done, Julia!

Sigma Wild co-owner Mike Censke has successfully finished the 2025 Michigan Naturalist Course offered by Michigan State University. This educational program offers an in-depth exploration of the natural ecosystems found in Michigan, including both native plant life and wildlife. Additionally, the course teaches valuable methods for engaging in wildlife conservation and equips participants with strategies for delivering Nature Education to the community. Throughout his training, Mike had the opportunity to explore various unique natural sites in southwest Michigan and was fortunate to connect with many knowledgeable instructors and participants who share a deep passion for the Natural World.

Let's embark on this journey together and keep our natural world thriving for generations to come!
